Personalised Scrub Caps

This is where you build your personalised scrub cap from scratch: you choose the style, the fabric, the ties and the embroidery, and we make it by hand in our workshop once you’ve ordered. The result is a theatre cap that’s yours down to the last detail.

There are three styles to start from: the Dorothea for long hair, the Henderson tie-back cap for short hair and the Zendal elastic cap for short to medium-length hair.

1. The fabric: pick your favourite from our micro-star and micro-dot prints, in a range of colours.

2. The ties: on the Dorothea and the Henderson, choose ties in the same fabric or in a contrast fabric.

3. The embroidery: choose one or two lines, the position (left or centre) and one of three lettering styles, then type your name, your specialty or both in the ‘Personalisation’ section.

4. The extras: got a special request, such as side buttons or a particular embroidery colour? Just tell us in the notes.

Long hair or a bun: the Dorothea scrub cap for long hair, with elastic at the nape plus ties at the back; 59 cm at rest, stretching to 67 cm, and 12 cm high.

Short hair: the Henderson tie-back scrub cap, with an open back, adjustable from 50 to 67 cm. Short to medium-length hair with nothing to tie: the Zendal elastic scrub cap, 53 cm at rest, stretching to 64 cm.

With your name and specialty on your cap, the team can see who’s who at a glance, and your cap never goes astray in the changing room. It’s proper embroidery rather than a vinyl transfer: the lettering is embroidered into the fabric, not stuck on top.

Which scrub caps can I personalise?

Here you can design the Dorothea, the Henderson and the Zendal from scratch. Every other scrub cap in our shop, the Camilo included, can also be embroidered with your name.

What can I have embroidered?

Your name, your specialty or both, on one or two lines, on the left or in the centre. Type the text in the ‘Personalisation’ section of the product page.

Can I ask for a particular embroidery colour or side buttons?

Tell us in the notes when you order and we’ll take a look at your request.

What head circumference do the caps fit?

They’re one size and adjustable: the Dorothea fits 59 to 67 cm, the Henderson 50 to 67 cm and the Zendal 53 to 64 cm.

Can I wear a fabric scrub cap in theatre?

Rules vary between hospitals and departments, so always follow your workplace’s policy. Our caps are machine washable and reusable, an alternative to disposable caps wherever fabric caps are allowed.

How long will my order take to arrive?

Each item is handmade within 4–5 working days of your order and then sent as a tracked parcel. Delivery times and costs for your country are shown at checkout; to France, Italy, Germany and the rest of the EU (except Bulgaria), delivery takes 5–7 working days and is free on orders over €90; to mainland Portugal, 1–3 working days and free over €60; to Madeira and the Azores, 3–6 working days and free over €90.
