Behind every cap, a story made by hand

Let me tell you how it all began. Needlework has always been my great passion and my way of switching off from the world. For as long as I can remember, I’ve always had my machine close by, and making little things by hand relaxed me so much; it was my refuge.

But Cosesi wasn’t born from a business plan: it was born from a loving gesture. It all started when Ari, a girl who is incredibly close and dear to me, began studying nursing. As she found her way into the world of healthcare, she asked me to make her a few personalised scrub caps to wear every day.

Seeing how excited she was to put them on, and how comfortable she found them, was the real spark. With her infectious enthusiasm, Ari soon convinced me that such special pieces shouldn’t stay at home: they deserved to reach more healthcare professionals. She saw the value of handmade even before I did.

Thanks to her encouragement and my love of needle and thread, I decided to take the plunge. Today at Cosesi, we turn that same care into handmade accessories, designed especially to look after the people who look after us all. Every thread carries a little piece of our story and our wish to brighten everyday life in healthcare.

My aim is simple: to take personalisation as far as it will go, so that your uniform speaks for you. So that when you catch your reflection between patients, that cap reminds you who you are.
